anyone going to see spearhead in telluride? we can hardly wait.

Sat, December 1, 2007 - 7:15 AMthat would have scared us off as well, with lodging, food and other travel expenses, but my wife's boss is a huge spearhead fan and bought all three of us tickets. plus she has a friend who will let us use her place out there. it suddenly became very affordable. this time of year it certainly wouldn't be something we would normally be able to do, but under the circumstances...
saw the john butler trio in denver the night after thanksgiving, and what a rockin' show. -

I keep tossing the Telluride show around in my head, but 6 hours of driving in iffy weather will probably keep us away...so I'll keep my fingers crossed for a return to SolarFest again! -

Sun, December 16, 2007 - 5:35 PMwe just got back from telluride and i have to say that the show last night was absolutely incredible. the venue was a large, heated tent and it was maybe just above zero outside, but maybe below, hard to say when it's that cold. not real warm inside initially, but warmed nicely during the show. the songs chosen for the show were a nice mix of from then to now. a very positive and uplifting show that will stick with us for quite a while. can hardly wait until the the next opportunity to see them again. -

I thought of you guys all weekend, but knowing the long drive from Taos and the bad weather, i knew I made the right decision to stay home. What new music did he sing??? I hope they will be at the Solar Music Festival again this year. -

Mon, December 17, 2007 - 5:28 AMi did take some pictures, and we luckily were very close to the front, only a couple of people back. the weather from the springs wasn't too bad, but a lot of ice and snowpack so it made for slow going. it seemed that i had heard all of the songs before, but i may be wrong, i'm still on spearhead overload.
